Environmental Excellence Awards Program

Awards highlight Port's commitment to sustainability

The Port of Seattle recognizes outstanding environmental accomplishments of Maritime and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport customers, tenants, non-profits and business partners with the Environmental Excellence awards. Award winners demonstrate environmental leadership in the maritime and aviation industries and are crucial partners in helping the Port achieve its Century Agenda sustainability goals.

This year, the awards are open to all Maritime customers, tenants and partners, when in recent past the focus had been the cruise industry. The awards also are open to projects, processes, tenants, airlines, partners and organizations providing services or supplies at Sea-Tac Airport.

The Port encourages nominations from eligible businesses of all sizes and especially small, minority-owned, women-owned or disadvantaged businesses. Anyone can submit a nomination on behalf of themselves or another organization.

Nominations are open Jan. 8 - Feb. 15 at 5 p.m.

Late nominations will not be accepted.

Awardees will be presented with a commemorative plaque and receive recognition from Port of Seattle Commissioners at a public meeting in April 2018.
