Beginning Jan 26 through Feb 13, early morning travelers picking up passengers and heading to the northbound airport express way between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri mornings will be detoured to the exit at 182nd southbound on International Blvd. Buses, shuttles and taxis also will be detoured but given the option to go north or south.
Both detours are the result of Sound Transit construction.
Link Light Rail Extension
The South 200th Extension extends light rail from the current light rail station at Sea-Tac Airport to South 200th Street in the City of SeaTac. The 1.6-mile elevated guideway and station will open in late 2016, at the same time as University Link and four years earlier than envisioned in the voter-approved Sound Transit 2 plan.
