New airlines. New routes. New opportunities.
Carriers choose Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

The past year has seen a host of new arrivals at Sea-Tac, with airlines from around the country and the world establishing or expanding service to the Airport. The Port has welcomed new carriers like Virgin America, Air France, Hainan Airlines, AeroMexico, and Lufthansa, as well as new routes for Northwest Airlines, who recently established non-stop service between Seattle and London Heathrow and begins Seattle-Beijing non-stops in March 2009. Each of these new routes is a tremendous benefit not only to local passengers looking to travel the globe, but to the many individuals and companies hoping to connect with Seattle and the Puget Sound. “Adding airline carriers and flights at Sea-Tac Airport translates into economic gains for our entire region,” says Port Commission President John Creighton.
