Real-Time Flight Information Available Online With the click of a mouse, now you can check the status of Sea-Tac Airport’s arriving and departing flights, any time, anywhere. A new Port Web page replicates flight information displayed on large kiosks throughout the airport and allows users to sort information by city, airline, flight time or date, as well as by remarks (to find delayed or cancelled flights.) This is especially important as record numbers of passengers are flying in and out of Sea-Tac.

Partnering to Improve Regional Transportation
Starting this summer you will see road changes at Sea-Tac that will bring light rail to the airport in 2009. In addition to light rail, the Port is collaborating with other agencies on a host of road and transit improvement projects that include FAST corridor and the Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement program. Message from the CEO
For the second year in a row, the Port of Seattle set a record for waterborne commerce through our facilities. Trade with China and other Asian countries has much to do with this growth, but there is more to the story. – M.R. Dinsmore

Staying Green
The Port’s Seaport landscape program has earned a prestigious “Five Star" rating from the King County EnviroStars Program. EnviroStars grades local business and government efforts in reducing hazardous waste and materials. Since 1998, the Seaport has used a 100% organic approach to landscaping at its 19 public access parks and other properties.

Truckers Honored at Annual Appreciation Day
Truck drivers play a key role in helping move goods in, out and around Port facilities. To honor the men and women on the front lines of trade, Port staff and managers greeted and personally thanked truckers during the annual Trucker Appreciation Day in November.
