If you're a tenant at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport who wants to modify or expand your facilities, contact the Port right away. Your plans may affect your lease agreement. More importantly, if we work together from the beginning, we can help you be more efficient in getting your project completed.
To discuss whether your project will affect your lease, contact the Airport Properties Director at (206) 248-7113.
Once lease issues are resolved, you'll need a "concept approval" from Operations or Business Development. A concept document may range from a loose statement of scope to a completely illustrated design.
The department you'll work through depends on the location of your facility within airport property, as follows:
| Tenant Location | Line of Business (LOB) | Phone |
|---|---|---|
| Airline, air cargo and aviation services in terminal and jet ways | Operations - Terminal | (206) 431-4049 |
| Tarmac and runways | Operations - Airfied | (206) 439-6626 |
| Ground transportation services | Operations - Landside | (206) 431-4916 |
| Terminal Concessions | Business Development | (206) 835-5777 |
Once you have concept approval from the appropriate department, you can submit a Project Application to begin the Port design review process.
As you refine your design, you will work with a Port Project Manager to ensure compliance with Port standards and state and local building codes.
Note: Port Project Managers do not have a contractual relationship with the tenant's consultants.
