Seaport Tours and Class Descriptions

Sea-Air School Seaport Tours offer two components. Registrations for the International Trade Class include the Harbor Tour.

Pre-tour resources are available online. Prior to your visit, download them and review the materials with your students.

Harbor Tour

Get an up-close look at the working harbor aboard an Argosy tour vessel. This exciting hour-long, narrated tour is free of charge and provides a window on international trade and the working waterfront.

All registrations include the Harbor Tour.

International Trade Class

Visit the Port of Seattle for an interactive class on international trade. Learn about imports and exports, how they move through the Port and how trade is linked to our daily lives. The International Trade Class is offered before or after the Harbor Tour.

The Sea-Air School

Provides an introduction to the Port of Seattle through free tours and classes.

Teaches students about the Port.

Describes diverse facilities and services at the seaport and airport.

Explains the important role the Port plays in the regional economy.

Describes different jobs linked to Port activities.

How Registration Works

A Seaport Tours and Class registration request confirmation page will appear. Print this page and keep a copy for your records.

You will receive a proposed visit date with times via your school e-mail address.

Please respond to this e-mail within 7 calendar days to confirm.

We will then confirm the date and times for your visit, again via your school e-mail address.

Prior to your visit, we will e-mail you the link to recommended Pre-tour Resources to help prepare your students.
