The Port of Seattle is expected to complete demolition of the buildings on the former Lora Lake Apartments sitein Burien, by the end of summer. While planning for demolition, the Port entered into a legal agreement, called an Agreed Order, with the Washington Department of Ecology. This agreement will guide the steps leading to clean up of contamination from past industrial uses at the site. Visit Ecology’s Web site for more information.
