1. Does the Fire Department serve all Port of Seattle locations?

2. Where is the Fire Department located?
The Fire Station is at the north end of Sea-Tac Airport at 2400 South 170th Street. Map and driving directions
3. How do I get a copy of my medical report after being treated by Port of Seattle Fire Department EMTs?
Medical information can only be released to the patient or, with proper documentation, the legal representative of the patient. A Medical Disclosure Form (38 KB PDF) must be completed mailed, e-mailed or faxed with a photocopy of the patient’s Driver’s License or other government-issued photo ID, such as a passport, to the administrative office of the Port of Seattle Fire Department. Once your request is received and authorized, a copy of the report will be mailed to you in approximately three business days. If you wish to pick up the report in person, please note this on the request and we will be happy to call you when the report is ready. If the incident report you are requesting is more than three years old, retrieval from long-term storage could take up to an additional three business days.
4. Does the Department offer CPR classes?
We only offer CPR classes to Port of Seattle employees and the employees of Airport tenants. Currently we do not have classes for the public.
5. Can I come to the Fire Station to have my blood pressure checked?
Absolutely! Our office (2400 South 170th Street) is staffed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feel free to come in at any time and we will have an EMT check your blood pressure. A card to record your blood pressure can also be provided.
6. Are you hiring new firefighters?
The Port of Seattle has no current opportunities for firefighters at this time.
7. Do you have volunteers?
No. We are not able to use volunteer firefighters because of security restrictions and labor agreements.
8. Do you allow “ride-along” observers?
At one time, we did allow “ride along” observers. However because of heightened security since 9/11, this is no longer possible.
9. I will be traveling through Sea-Tac Airport and have a 90-minute layover. I am on oxygen and will need oxygen during this time. Do you provide of oxygen at the Airport?
Because oxygen is a prescription medication, the Fire Department is only authorized to administer it in emergency situations as part of patient treatment. The airlines can and do provide medical oxygen for their customers during travel. Contact your airline to see if they can assist you. If that is not possible, a medical supplier should be able to deliver oxygen to the Airport.
10. Do you inspect fire extinguishers?
We only inspect and maintain fire extinguishers that are Port property. If you are an Airport tenant and need to have fire extinguishers inspected, there are a number of companies in the area that can provide this service. They are listed in local directories under "Fire Extinguishers."
