Commission To Act on Dinsmore's Employment

The Seattle Port Commission will take action on Executive Director M. R. Dinsmore's employment at its regular meeting Tuesday, July 25 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The Commission will act on proposed changes in Dinsmore's annual salary and a new deferred compensation plan.

Dinsmore was named Executive Director in July 1992.

"Mic Dinsmore has a proven track record that includes successful management of billions of dollars in aviation and seaport investments, an 80 percent increase in operating revenues since 1992, establishing Seattle as a cruise homeport and developing a outstanding workforce," Commission President Jack Block said.

"Mic Dinsmore is the kind of leader our community needs to keep us competitive in the global marketplace as we virtually rebuild Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and make continued improvements in seaport facilities," he said.
