Port of Seattle Names New Media Officer

The Port of Seattle has named Mick Shultz to the post of Media Relations Officer for its Seaport and Corporate divisions. Shultz joins the Port of Seattle after spending 6-1/2 years as Communications Manager at the Port of Tacoma. Prior to working for the Port of Tacoma, Shultz was in public relations with the Tacoma-based American Plywood Association. He also spent time as a reporter for the Peninsula Gateway newspaper in Gig Harbor, Wa., and as a correspondent for the Yakima Herald-Republic.
