(Seattle)-The ticketing drive at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will be closed for about 8 hours tonight, so crews can apply a needed overlay to the pavement surface. Access to the ticketing drive will stop at around 8 p.m. The drive will reopen tomorrow at 4 a.m.
The ticketing drive is the elevated roadway that passes directly in front of the Sea-Tac terminal building.
The baggage claim drive, at ground level, will remain open. Outbound passengers can be dropped off on the baggage claim drive, and take escalators or elevators to the ticketing level.
Also closed will be a ramp that allows drivers from either level to loop from the terminal back to the ticketing drive. Drivers needing to leave the baggage claim drive and loop around will be directed by signs to the airport expressway. They will be able to exit northbound at 170th Street, loop under the roadway and get right back on the expressway going southbound.
