Low Summer Rates for Recreational Boats at Fishermen's Terminal
The Port of Seattle is offering special summer moorage rates for recreational boaters at Fishermen's Terminal. Located in freshwater on the south side of the Ship Canal between the Ballard Bridge and the Hiram Chittenden Locks, Fishermen's Terminal provides excellent access to Lake Washington and Puget Sound.
In June, July and August, the Port will offer a rate of $6.25 per foot per month for new recreational boat customers.
Within the Terminal, recreational and commercial boats are moored side by side in jigsaw pier slips. Moorage rates include water, three-day parking, 24-hour staff on-site, security cameras, oil disposal, bilge and sewage pump-out, recycling bins and restroom access. Garbage service, 15/20/30-amp power, laundry and showers are also available. The terminal has restaurants, marine repair facilities, insurance and equipment rentals nearby.
Stationary work floats and a marine repair facility offer boat owners an easy way to complete work on their boats in a freshwater environment.
Year-round guest moorage for recreational boats is also available at Fishermen's Terminal. The guest moorage rate for recreational boats is 65 cents per-foot per-day, and includes 20-amp electricity. Individual or group boaters can make arrangements for guest moorage by calling 206-728-3395 or VHF Ch 17.
