New Art Exhibit Opens at Sea-Tac Airport
Northwest Photography by Benham Gallery is Featured
On Monday, Sept. 27, the Port of Seattle unveils a new photography exhibit at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for travelers to enjoy.
Curated by Marita Holdaway of the Benham Gallery, the "Re-imagined" exhibit features five artists who use their cameras to share new ways to view the Pacific Northwest. Featured artists Ted Grudowski, Adrienne Taggart and Phyllis Uitti-Maslin take two-dimensional imagery and create three-dimensional art forms, while J.F. Housel and Steven Meyers use their specialized training to create a unique way to see regional botanicals.
The exhibit is located behind security on Concourse A, adjacent to gate A-1, and may be viewed by ticketed passengers through August 14, 2005.
