Work has begun on the reconstruction of the airport's longest runway, 16L/34R. Read the fact sheet (25 KB, PDF)
Sea-Tac Airport has recently finished a major renovation and expansion. It's both expanded and improved. Here's a quick look at recent changes:

And there's more to come. Sound Transit Link light rail is coming to Sea-Tac by the end of 2009.

Security checkpoints were moved up to the ticketing level, providing more room in the expanded, remodeled subway stations. |
