Lindsay is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in maritime freight and port industry. In the role of Managing Director of Maritime, Lindsay is responsible for directing the strategic and daily operations of Cruise Operations, Fishing and Commercial Operations, Grain, Recreational Boating, Industrial Properties and Marine Maintenance.

As a Port of Seattle employee for more than thirty years, Lindsay brings a deep and unique understanding of Port operations and the Port organization.

Skilled leader in operations and labor management

Lindsay is an award winning business leader with over 30 years of leadership experience managing represented and non-represented employees, directing the operations of a complex maintenance shop, negotiating labor contracts, supporting multiple lines of business and service and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Skilled in process improvement for operations and setting organizational goals, Lindsay has implemented policy and procedural improvements, including: establishing work process agreements across union contracts, improving cost performance by eliminating loss leading activities and implementing efficiencies in maintenance service delivery. She provides excellent leadership to diverse teams, demonstrating strong support for talent enhancement and providing significant organizational guidance during periods of change and growth.

Lindsay is a Seattle native with a strong interest in community and service. She has deep experience in development, implementation and administration of programs and policies focused on supporting organizational goals related to business performance, asset stewardship, employee development, process improvement, community service, safety and diversity.

Lindsay has served on several boards and commissions with broad community focus. Her commitments include education, non-profit service, government and private advisory boards, information and communication technology and community giving. She has multiple industry affiliations.
