​Better Than Market

The guiding principles of our Total Rewards Philosophy state that our total benefits package should be slightly better than market average. Each year we participate in and use data from the Milliman Northwest Benefits Survey, which includes data from both public and private employers in the Puget Sound area to see how we measure up against the market. We look at things like deductibles, employees' expected premium share, and out of pocket maximums.  

The Port offers the choice of three plans at open enrollment: Deductible (administered by Aetna), Deductible (Aetna), and HMO (Kaiser). Browse the charts below to examine how the Port compares to other employeers in the region.
