Healthcare at the Port of Seattle

The philosophy encourages employees to take an active role in understanding and utilizing their benefits responsibly, and that employees should share in the cost of their healthcare.

Open Enrollment for 2018 Medical and Dental Plans, FSAs, and HSAs 
will run from Nov. 13 to Dec. 1, 2017.

Get information about Port-sponsored medical and dental plans as well as FSAs, HSAs, and life insurance benefits. Total Rewards staff will also be available to answer your questions at each date/location. Additional contact information, including customer service lines, is available on the Medical Plans page.

Enrollment and Eligibility

Open Enrollment for 2018 Medical and Dental Plans, FSAs, and HSAs is November 13 – December 1, 2017.

Current Employees: Election is required to continue or establish a FSA and/or HSA for 2018. Electing medical/dental coverage is only required if you are changing plans, coverage levels, and/or enrolled family members for the 2018 plan year.

Eligible Family Members

Eligible family members include; spouses or domestic partners, children, step-children, domestic partner's children, and children for whom you are a legal guardian. Children are eligible for coverage through the month in which they turn age 26. Tax dependency, marital, and student status are not considered in determining eligibility.
