The Port of Seattle is actively engaged with Sound Transit and their public planning process. The Port of Seattle and Northwest Seaport Alliance comment letter from March 5, 2018 is now available. It assessing how the Port will work with Sound Transit during the Alternatives Development stage over the following 18 months.

At Sea-Tac Airport

The Link Light Rail Station at Sea-Tac Airport opened in December 2009 in a joint collaboration between Sound Transit and the Port of Seattle. Travelers can ride light rail between the airport and downtown and other light rail destinations.

Airport Station Location

The SeaTac / Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the Airport Garage and a covered, level walkway connects to the airport terminal. The well-lit walkway is separated from the main area of the garage and directional signs point the way to the main terminal skybridge.

Link Light Rail service runs from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and 6 a.m. to midnight on Sundays and holidays. Trains arrive and depart every 7 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Light rail and bus are great alternatives to driving. Learn more on our public transit page.
