SEA Airport air cargo trends: In 2025 total air cargo was down 6.9% from 2024. Domestic air cargo was down 12.6% from 2024. International air cargo was up 10% from 2024. From 2023 to 2024 all three - domestic, international, and total air cargo - had increased between 2.5% and 13%. Overall freighter cargo was down approx. 14% in 2025 but belly cargo increased more than 10%. The number of freighter cargo operations decreased approx. 9.5% in 2025 but cargo operations on all other aircraft increased approx. 0.

SEA Airport maintains robust nonstop destinations, with more on the way. In 2025 SEA added five new international services, including two new airlines, SAS (Copenhagen) and Edelweiss (Zurich), and Alaska Airlines' first intercontinental flights, to Seoul and Tokyo. SEA exceeded its number of pre-pandemic international services even before China service returns in 2026. In 2025 SEA had 58 international services to 36 nonstop destinations with 30 airlines.
