Update on the Port's COVID-19 response Learn more.

The Port is committed to providing full assistance to those seeking access to Port records. As a special-purpose municipal corporation serving the citizens of King County, the Port complies with the Washington State Public Records Act Chapter 42.56 RCW.

Pursuant to Proclamation 20-28.9 regarding the Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act (PRA), issued by Governor Inslee on March 24, 2020, the required 5 business response and other PRA requirements involving access to Port offices has been temporarily waived through October 1, 2020.

The Port of Seattle is making every effort to continue providing acknowledgments to new public records requests within the 5-day period, however, there may be delays in providing the 5-day notice and/or producing records due to the Stay At Home Order issued by Governor Jay Inslee. The Port cannot provide access to review physical records in person until after the Proclamation 20-28 restrictions have been lifted but we will continue providing available electronic records consistent with the PRA. We appreciate your understanding during this time.
