The Port will be publishing an annual Accountability Report with all information about facial recognition systems operating at SEA, including any known or reasonably suspected violations of the Port’s and the operator’s rules and guidelines. This report will include complaints alleging violations; any publicly available data about the accuracy and effectiveness of the system, including accuracy overall as well as accuracy for specific demographics; and any Port-conducted performance evaluations and other publicly available CBP audits.
This accountability report will be shared to the public through all Port communications channels. Check back here to see the first accountability report, due in December 2021.
