The Port conducted broad community engagement including meeting with community leaders in a series of round table exercises, presentations to city councils and Port stakeholder groups, and conversations with multicultural community liaisons. Feedback including a focus on equity, economic development and support for small businesses were all incorporated into the final RFP.
