Tenants who hold an Ecology Boatyard Permit are responsible for compliance with the requirements of their Boatyard General Permit. The requirements include:
- Development of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
- Identification of a Pollution Prevention Team responsible for managing stormwater
- Implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs)
- Proper solid and liquid waste disposal
- Collection and analysis of stormwater discharge samples
- Discharge limitations
- Monitoring and recordkeeping
- Reporting for Zebra Mussel control
- Compliance with other permit standards
Tenant activities covered under the Boatyard General Permit are not covered by the Port's Phase I municipal permit.
