The Port of Seattle Small Business Generator Program (PortGen) provides an excellent opportunity to meet representatives from the Diversity in Contracting Department, project/division specific representatives, and decision makers. Port staff share information about our programs, initiatives, policies, procedures, and contracting goals. Port staff also provide resources for small/WMBE businesses.
Advanced PortGens are also offered. These provide the opportunity for small/WMBE businesses to learn and further the develop the knowledge and skills to run and sustain a successful business. Topics covered in Advanced PortGens include bonding and insurance, human resources, marketing, proposal writing, financials, and more!
