New year. Same resolution! Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is focused on giving you the best possible experience by modernizing spaces and providing more services, dining, and retail options. And 2025 brings you one step closer to a brand-new modernized space with Upgrade SEA’s C Concourse Expansion project.
Major construction will literally raise the roof — adding four levels of space, sights, and seats. But with construction comes change. For your protection, a wall will be added near the area of Gates C2-C3 to cordon off the construction behind the wall on the current C1 Building. This will also mean losing some restaurants and retail shops. The good news is the airport has so many alternatives that you’ll still find what you’re looking for. And there’s a lot to look forward to! So don’t fret. There will be 13 new restaurant and retail spaces in a new lighter, brighter space when it’s completed in 2026.
Let this be your guide to the C Concourse during construction. There's a whole airport to explore!
Pro tip: Travel to the other concourses is easy breezy with the SEA Underground train system! Find the latest and most accurate information on what’s available in the terminal and how to get there on the interactive map for navigation and information at your fingertips.
