Join Us for the Part 150 Noise and Land Use Compatibility Study Workshops 

The Port of Seattle invites you to attend a public workshop to learn about the current Part 150 Study for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This multi-year study evaluates SEA’s aircraft noise compatibility with the surrounding communities and explores current and potential new efforts to reduce the effects of aircraft noise on these communities. This voluntary study follows the Federal Aviation Administration’s regulatory process.  

The in-person workshops will share information about the study’s timeline, projected aircraft noise levels in the surrounding communities, and proposed draft measures aimed at reducing noise. Attendees will have the opportunity to offer feedback on proposed measures and suggest additional noise reduction measures for evaluation within the study.   

Similar to previous study workshops, each workshop will be held in an “open house” format with no formal presentation. The workshops will be an interactive format to maximize opportunities for one-on-one conversations and allow participants to share information, ideas, and concerns about potential measures with staff and consultants. Since the information will be identical at each of these three workshops, you may attend any workshop at any time during the hours listed.
