The Port of Seattle invites you to attend a public workshop to learn about the Part 150 Study for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The multi-year study evaluates SEA’s aircraft noise compatibility with the surrounding communities and current and possible new efforts to reduce the effects of aircraft noise on these communities. This voluntary study follows the Federal Aviation Administration’s regulatory process.
The workshops — three in-person and one virtual — will share information on the study’s timeline and current and projected aircraft noise levels in the surrounding communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to offer feedback on the draft Noise Exposure Map (NEM) report and suggest potential noise reduction measures for evaluation within the study.
Similar to the kick-off workshops in June 2024, each in-person workshop will be held in an “open house” format with no formal presentation. This format will provide the maximum opportunity for one-on-one conversations and sharing information, ideas, and concerns. You may attend any workshop at any time during the hours listed.
Need language interpretation, special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, or questions answered? Contact the Noise Programs office at 206-787-5393 or [email protected]. Please submit all requests seven business days in advance of any workshop.
Food and childcare will be provided.
