Designated Smoking Areas

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is a non-smoking facility.

Smoking is prohibited along the upper and lower airport drives, besides where designated below, everywhere in the airport garage, anywhere inside the terminal and in all airfield locations. To find step-by-step instructions to the smoking area, please use our interactive map.

Smoking is only allowed in two outdoor locations:

  • At the very north end of the Upper Drive by Door 33 near Alaska Airlines (Ticketing level)
  • At the very south end of the Upper Drive by Door 5 near near the International Airlines (Ticketing level)
