Dia De Los Muertos

Honor your loved ones at an Ofrenda in the Central Terminal on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. Two live musical and dance performances will celebrate one of Mexico’s tradition of remembrance with giveaways of treats, maracas, and other gifts for the traveling public. 

Sol de Noche

 A complete live music and dance show. Sol de Noche plays the tango and folklore of Argentina on guitar, bandoneón, flute and Spanish-language vocals, led by a Buenos Aires native on the iconic bandoneón. Professional tango dancers in costume perform 15–20minute dance blocks to the live music, bringing the romance of Buenos Aires to the Central Terminal. 

Grupo Folklórico Herencias Mexicanas 

Their program, “Dances of Mexico: Del Norte al Sur,” travels from the north of Mexico to the south, with 2–3 costume changes for color and variety. Four families in Lake Stevens founded the group in 2009 to keep Mexican folklórico alive for the next generation. Día de los Muertos is a natural fit for them!
