Navigating the Excitement: Seattle Boat Show 2024

January 30, 2024

It’s the time of the year when maritime enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the annual Seattle Boat Show. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Northwest, this event is not just a boat show — it’s an experience. One of the premier shows in the region, the 2024 Seattle Boat Show is ready to cast its anchor at the Lumen Field Event Center and the Port of Seattle’s Bell Harbor Marina from February 2-10, 2024.

The venue — Bell Harbor Marina

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, Bell Harbor Marina is a jewel along the city’s waterfront. Boasting panoramic views of the Puget Sound and the surrounding mountains, this marina offers the perfect setting for a boat show. With its state-of-the-art facilities and convenient location, Bell Harbor Marina has become a favorite among boaters and showgoers alike. Visit Bell Harbor Marina throughout this 10-day show and have exclusive access to over 50 new and brokerage boats on display. During the show, the marina is open 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily. Use the Bell Harbor Marina filter on the exhibitor search webpage to see a list of boats and brands that will be afloat at Bell Harbor Marina.

Interactive workshops and seminars

The boat show offers a diverse program of workshops and seminars throughout the show. Experts and industry leaders will share insights on topics ranging from boat maintenance and navigation to fishing techniques and marine conservation. Port of Seattle exhibit

The Port of Seattle Recreational Boating Division will be represented at Lumen Field throughout the show days and will host the in-water portion of the show at Bell Harbor Marina. Be sure to stop by the marina or visit with Port staff in the East Hall booth #1122 and have the opportunity to speak with our featured guests who are maritime organizations chosen by the Port for providing diversity-forward recreational boating programs:

  • Sisters in Action Sports (SAS) inspires, encourages, and empowers females through participation in action sports, creating affordable opportunities in the water and outdoor recreational events throughout the year. These opportunities draw hundreds of sisters of all ages and abilities and provide opportunities for progression and support to first-timers who are looking for a welcoming inclusive female community. SAS offers scholarships and support to aspiring young athletes to achieve their goals.

  • SEASTR is a nonprofit, which offers low-cost programming to help alleviate the financial factor, break down the barrier of affluence, and encourage equal access to the maritime community. SEASTR is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive outdoor community where all, regardless of their background, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ability, or socioeconomic status, feel welcomed, respected, and valued.

  • Corinthian Yacht Club (CYC) — The CYC Junior Sailing Program offers sailing opportunities for youths of all abilities — from beginning sailors to advanced racers. CYC has the equipment, location, coaching, and attitude to help children explore their independence while learning sportsmanship, building character, and making new friends in a fun and safe environment.

  • Anacortes Waterfront Alliance (AWA) began with a need to serve the small boating community and has grown into an inclusive and comprehensive program encompassing waterfront programs, enhanced water access, and a unified purpose in a quickly growing maritime community. They exist to not only serve the established body but to foster the development of new individuals and groups — which inspired their new summer program “Juguemos en el agua!” (let’s play in the water!) to encourage the Latinx community to participate in waterfront activities.

  • Seafair is about lifting up community, connecting with neighbors, honoring diversity, and appreciating traditions. Seafair offers over 30 events in a multi-week festival that allows people to connect in an atmosphere of community and celebration to create memories and provide affordable fun and is made possible with the help of nearly 3,000 volunteers.

If you can’t make it to this year’s show, you can still take advantage of the guest moorage discount at Shilshole Bay Marina and Bell Harbor Marina. For a limited time, save $20 a night on guest moorage when you make a reservation and mention the “Boat Show Discount.” Call to make a reservation at Bell Harbor Marina (206) 787-3952 and Shilshole Bay Marina (206) 787-3006.
