Have a project that increases access to jobs in port-related industries? Does your organization work with members of historically underrepresented communities around Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), South King County, Duwamish Valley, or Beacon Hill?
The Port is accepting applications for the South King County Community Impact Fund (SKCCIF) Economic Opportunities for Communities (EOC) Program. The EOC Program awards contracts to non-profit organizations, chambers of commerce, or community-based organizations with a fiscal sponsor to increase awareness and access to livable wages in port-related jobs and careers through career prep programs and services. Port-related industries include aviation, construction trades, green jobs, and maritime. Up to $115,000 is available for a single year of funding or up to $275,000 is available in multi-year funding (up to three years).
