Join the Port of Seattle for an information session to learn about the Maritime Workforce Liaison role and how this position supports maritime employers and jobseekers within the Maritime Career Launch program.
The Maritime Workforce Liaison serves as a connector between maritime employers, training providers, and participants interested in maritime shoreside careers, helping translate employer needs into clear job pathways while supporting and placing jobseekers as they transition from training into employment.
This session will provide an overview of the Liaison’s role, the types of support available to jobseekers and employers, and how participants can engage with the Maritime Career Launch program through this service.
At this in-person session, you will learn:
- What the Maritime Workforce Liaison does and who they support
- How the Liaison works with maritime employers and training partners
- How jobseekers can access employment connections and hiring support
- How employers can engage with Maritime Career Launch talent pipelines
