
2025 RFP application is open from September 22- October 31
The Port is accepting applications for the 2025 South King and Port Communities Fund (SKPCF) Environmental Improvements Program (EIP), which supports community-led projects that support public space improvements and environmental stewardship. The RFP is Procurement # 00322367. Apply by October 31 12 p.m. Noon PST.
Fund highlights
- A total of $500,000 in funding is available for 2025 application
- Requests can be up to $20,000 for a single year or up to $60,000 over three years
- Projects must take place on public property. Connect with parks department staff
- Projects must demonstrate a 2:1 match, meaning every dollar awarded by the Port must be matched by two dollars from the grant recipient or project partners
- Proposers must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 or 501(c)6 status or community group that works with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor
- Organizations must demonstrate experience in serving diverse near-airport communities that experience economic and environmental injustice
- Organizations must submit a written proposal and participate in a discussion with the review panel

- Go to the Port's VendorConnect
- Click on “Current/Past Solicitations” and search for Procurement # 00322367
- Download the RFP Package and Exhibits. The files will include details about the program and application forms
- Submit your application with all required documents by email to [email protected] by 12 p.m. noon PST on October 31, 2025
