International Trusted Traveler Programs

CBP's Global Entry Office

CBP's Trusted Traveler Programs provide expedited travel for pre-approved, low-risk travelers through dedicated lanes and kiosks for processing through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)'s Passport Control.

If you are a frequent international traveler, you can use the following Trusted Traveler Programs from the Department of Homeland Security to help you move through the line at the airport. These programs provide modified screening for pre-approved members to have more efficient screening times. Mobile Passport Control MPC Logo

Price: Free!
Applicable for: U.S. and Canadian Citizens

Mobile Passport Control (MPC) allows eligible travelers to submit their passport and customs declaration information through a free, secure app on their smartphone or other mobile device. The use of MPC streamlines the traveler’s entry process into the United States by reducing passport control inspection time and overall wait time. Use of MPC is free and does not require pre-approval. As a result, travelers may experience shorter wait times, less congestion and efficient processing.

The CBP Mobile Passport Control App: CBP’s MPC app is a free application that can be downloaded from the Apple App store and Google Play and is currently available for eligible travelers to use upon arrival at MPC approved sites. Please see FAQ question on CBP website for more information.

Global Entry ProgramGlobal Entry

Price: One-time service fee of $100 USD for 5-year membership per person, more information from Global Entry
Applicable for: U.S. and Canadian Citizens, or permanent residents. More information from CBP on Global Entry.

Ideal for arriving in the United States from international destinations. With Global Entry you can use a kiosk to clear immigration, customs, and agricultural processing with no paper arrival forms to file out when you travel. U.S. and Canadian and other citizens from many countries are eligible to enroll in CBP’s Global Entry program. With a Global Entry membership, passengers will also be provided TSA Pre✓® that can be used at the main terminal’s checkpoints. This is CBP’s premium program and all participants must pay and are subject to interview in order to enroll and be accepted by CBP into the program. NEXUS NEXUS

Price: One-time service fee of $50 USD for 5-year membership per person, more information from NEXUS
Applicable for: U.S. and Canadian Citizens, Mexican nationals, or permanent residents. More information from CBP on NEXUS.

Ideal for frequent travelers between the U.S. and Canada. NEXUS allows self-report customs forms when entering the U.S. or Canada via air, reducing time in U.S. and Canadian processing, and includes TSA Pre✓® as well as all the same benefits as Global Entry. NEXUS allows pre-screened travelers expedited processing when entering the United States and Canada. Program members use dedicated processing NEXUS kiosks when entering Canada by air and Global Entry kiosks when entering the United States via Canadian Pre-clearance airports.
