Meeting International Arriving Passengers

Update on the Port's COVID-19 response Learn more.

Passengers from international flights arrive at the South Satellite. It typically takes 60 or more minutes to clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection, though it may take longer during peak periods when multiple flights arrive at once. When this occurs passengers will not be at baggage claim at the time of their scheduled landing, the best thing to do is track their flight status with our website or the SEA Airport App. The flight status will notify and show you if the passengers from that flight are still in customs or just landed!

The best places to meet arriving international passengers are at the escalators between Baggage Claims 7 and 8 on the Baggage Claim level where international travelers first come up to Baggage Claim, or at Baggage Claim 1 where they pick up their checked luggage. For wayfinding help, please see our interactive map.
