Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) welcomes the STARLUX Airlines announcement of flights from SEA to Taipei (TPE) starting in August 2024. The airline will provide more options for passengers traveling across the Pacific with three outbound flights a week, continuing to expand our region’s connections to Asia and helping meet increasing demand for business and leisure travel to the region.
“We’re delighted to host a new airline partner at SEA and serve as STARLUX’s third destination in the United States,” said Port of Seattle Commissioner Toshiko Hasegawa. “At SEA, we’re continuing to find ways to meet a growing demand for travel, and that includes welcoming a wide variety of carriers and services to provide choices. We look forward to celebrating the inaugural flight later this summer.”
Passengers flying with STARLUX will fly in one of four cabins (First, Business, Premium Economy, Economy) aboard an Airbus A350-900. Outbound passengers heading to TPE can connect to 21 Asian destinations. Those traveling to SEA have the option to connect to the Alaska Airlines network, STARLUX’s first airline partner. Reservations are already available for booking.

SEA currently offers 47 services to 30 international destinations on 25 different airlines. This is the fifth new international service announced for 2024, after Alaska Airlines to Toronto starting in May; Lufthansa to Munich starting in May; Delta Air Lines to Taipei starting in June; and China Airlines to Taipei starting in July.
