A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security officer tested positive for COVID-19. The officer last worked January 6 and 7 at Checkpoint 3. The checkpoints are deep cleaned daily.
Four passengers tested positive for COVID-19 in the early hours of January 7, 2021, but all arrived at SEA on January 6, 2021.
The first passenger arrived on Alaska Airlines flight #21 from O'Hare International Airport (ORD), and moved through North Satellite/N gates, bag claim and the international ticketing area.
The second passenger arrived on Delta Air Lines flight #337 from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and moved through concourse B, bag claim and the international ticketing area.
The third passenger arrived on Alaska Airlines flight #729 from Louis Lambert International Airport (STL), and moved through concourse C, bag claim, the USO and the international ticketing area.
The fourth passenger arrived on Delta Air Lines flight #801 from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), and moved through concourse B, bag claim, and the international ticketing area.
