Overview of Services:

Industrial Trades Technician (ATA)/ Apprenticeship Program - a collaborative program between Olympic College, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility. This program blends theory and practical application to bolster learning experiences in oral and written communications, interpersonal skills, applied mathematics, and applied physics.

Manufacturing Technology - Certificate of Completion is designed to provide students with entry level manufacturing skills and machining skills. Students will learn about hand tools, shop safety procedures, blueprints, machinery, and computer numerical control.

Welding - ATA Degree and several specialized certificate options.

Marine Electrical Apprentice - The only program we offer that is specifically for maritime is the Marine Electrical apprentice that we plan to launch fall quarter 2022.

Credential: YES

End of Y1 – Certificate of Completion
End of Y2 – Have taken core classes and relevant trade theory courses
End of Y3 – Get ATA, Associate Technical Arts Degree, as Industrial Trade Tech, could pursue Marine Electrician.
End of Y4 – Spent OJT, on docks or working as Journeyman. Get certificate from Navy.
