- SEA has been notified that moving forward, submissions for new and renewing applicants will only allow “male (M)” or “female (F)” in the “sex” field on badge applications. The TSA, as the federal agency responsible for badging requirements, is mandating this change and removing the option for “U” or “X” gender selections
