There’s no sugar coating the fact that travel can be stressful. So let us ease those rocky roads with some sweet stops at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Trust us ... these treats are way better than “plane” chocolate!
Located near Ticketing and Baggage Claim
Start your day with a coffee and some sweet pastries — something soft and fluffy like Starbucks cake pops, Sourced Market’s chewy taffy, a blueberry muffin, or chocolate chip cookies from Alki Bakery. Options abound from all three of these stores before heading through security. Just remember to remove the evidence from your lips if you’re waiting to meet and greet friends and family!
Capitol Hill Food Hall
Stay cool, calm, and collected with Snoqualmie’s handmade ice cream. The King County-based company has savory and sweet flavors based on Seattle taste profiles. You'll never guess that olive oil ice cream could be so delicious. Don’t miss salted, malted, chocolate chip cookie dough and many other seasonal flavors. And even Ellenos Greek Yogurt for another creamy and cool option
Lady Yum Macarons
What goes together better than macarons and mischief? Sign us up for Seattle’s own Lady Yum! Their tasty macarons (which also happen to be gluten-free!) have unique flavors such as Unicorn or Honey Lavender. They’re so hard to describe that you should just stop by and try them yourself! Don’t go home wondering “what does unicorn taste like?”
Floret by Café Flora
For our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free passengers, Floret is the place to be with their handmade pastries from their own local bakery, the Flora Bakehouse. Grab some brownies, apple spice muffins, and chocolate hazelnut coffee cake that you just can’t make at home.
Find the familiar and quick yums everyone loves like a warm apple pie, a hot fudge sundae — or the all-time favorite — a creamy vanilla cone!
Cut the space of your hearty burrito by following it with some brownies and cookies!
LouLou Market and Bar
Say “oui oui” to sweets with some French-inspired cuisine at LouLou Market and Bar. Go light and fruity with their Strawberry and Mascarpone Crepe or indulge in the all-time favorite chocolate-hazelnut spread, in a Nutella Crepe. (They even have savory crepes if that’s more your vibe!)
Pastries are life. Delivered from family-owned Anjou Bakery where they make flavorful bakery items with the best available ingredients. Try the Chocolatine, which has dark chocolate in the middle of a butter croissant, and is the perfect pair with a hot cup of Vita coffee.
Subway isn’t famous for their great collection of cookies — from classic chocolate chip cookies to raspberry cheesecake. But maybe they should be.
Which dessert pairs best with wine? For our money, it’s the Grand Marnier with strawberries and vanilla mascarpone cream that goes with white, red, rose, and anything in between!
Craving bubble tea before boarding your flight? Hachi-ko serves Thai Tea and Taro bubble tea; add some boba or jelly to build the drink of your dreams.
No time to tame your sweet tooth? All the sweet pastries and bakery items are wrapped and ready to take on the plane with you. Indulge and make your seatmates jealous as they crunch on their free snacks.
You’ll be full of regret if you miss Seattle Chocolates at SEA Airport. These locally produced and themed chocolates look as good as they taste with unique and colorful illustrations on the labels and big flavors like Camper’s Smores, Honey almond coconut, chocolate wafer cone truffle bar, and so many more.
Dilettante Mocha Café
Travel like royalty with chocolate recipes from the Master Pastry Chef to the last great Emperor of the Hapsburg dynasty. We know traveling can be truffling but ease the trip with unforgettable flavor and texture of the signature Ephemere truffles that melt in your mouth. Or branch out with hand-dipped truffles, caramels, toffee pieces, sweet cakes, and cupcakes. Or the deep and decadent hot chocolate crafted from the finest chocolate.
Lucky Louie Fish Shack
No fishing hooks or bait are needed to catch these fish! This top spot serves sweet waffle fish filled with cheesecake and dipped in your choice of chocolate fudge, salted caramel, Northwest berry, or warm maple bacon. You might have to come back again to try every flavor!
Trail Head BBQ
Don’t be so preoccupied that you miss this caramel apple pie, apple fritter, or New York cheesecake.
Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max
The inside scoop is that Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max sells Laina’s Handcrafted Ice cream and sorbet options featuring flavors like Lilikoi, Ube*, pineapple whip, and toasted coconut*
(* these items are not only dreamy, but dairy-free and vegan!)
Natalie’s Candy Jar
Marketplace at N
Feed your inner child with self-serve candy with over 400 nostalgic candy selections. They have all the sweets you need from chocolate to sour candies, gummies, and jellies.
This roaster was founded in Seattle and features quality pastries from other local brands Alki Bakery and Macrina Bakery! (P.S. Caffé D’arté is also at Gate A10!)
SEA Roast Coffee House
Serving Caribou Coffee with chocolate croissants, scones, and many more options for a balanced breakfast.

They don’t just sell great tacos and burritos; they also have salted caramel cheesecake and cinnamon sugar churros for dessert!

Another classic coffee stop, Peet’s serves baked goods such as blueberry cream cheese muffins, raspberry dessert scones, and many more artisanal baked goods.
