Port of Seattle Seeks Community Feedback to Support Airport Managing Director Search

The Port of Seattle is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as the next Managing Director of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). SEA is one of the most-connected airports in North America, serving more than 52 million passengers annually. As the region’s global gateway, SEA connects people, drives the economy, and reflects the values of the communities we serve.

The Aviation Managing Director leads the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the airport. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, improving the travel experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Managing Director also guides commercial development to generate revenue, oversees capital projects and ongoing maintenance, and works closely with community and industry partners. In addition, the position is responsible for airport security, emergency preparedness, and meeting all state and federal safety regulations.
