Fall in Love with the Flavors of SEA

February 11, 2020

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, Singles Awareness Day, or Aquarius season on February 14, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) has dining from fast-casual to leisurely that will make you swoon.

Read on for our guide to flavors to fall in love with at SEA.

Floret, A Gates: Floret offers fresh and local vegetarian fare that makes our healthy heart go pitter-patter. Your valentine will look radishing while sipping an oatmilk latte and enjoying a beautiful plant-based breakfast like Chilaquiles with eggs or seasoned tofu scrambled with crispy spiced tortilla chips, topped with creamy avocado, corn relish, cotija, lime sour cream, snappy sauce, and served with black beans.

Capitol Hill Food Hall, A Gates: Locavores delight in the eateries inside Capitol Hill Food Hall serving fixes for coffee cravings, pouring Washington wines, and slinging gourmet grab-and-go. Capitol Hill is one of the most delicious neighborhoods in Seattle, and Capitol Hill Food Hall merges the artisanal flair of this special neighborhood with convenience, choices, Instagram-worthy menus, and a dedicated performance space for live music. Look forward to its opening this week!

Trail Head BBQ, Central Terminal: The Pacific Northwest is paradise for hikers and outdoor adventures, and we also love good eats. The newly-opened Trailhead BBQ intertwines the two greatest loves of Seattleites with a savory barbeque menu inspired by the trails in our region. Nosh on the Mail Box Peak sandwich with pulled chicken, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese on Texas toast. Or raise a glass to your valentine with the Mt. Baker Mule, The Enchantments Traverse, or Maple Pass Mary cocktail.

Lady Yum, C Gates: We have a crush on the macaroons, mischief, and prosecco at Lady Yum! We couldn't live without the 15 original flavors that are available all the time, but we also love to spice it up once in a while. Don’t miss the three winter seasonal flavors, Amaretto Rose, Sugar Cookie, and Amarena Cheery Dark Chocolate. Share the love with February flavors Burnin’ Love and Passionfruit. Lady Yum is offering special Valentine’s Day packaging perfect for gifting. Excitingly, a new Lady Yum location at SEA is opening at the beginning of Concourse A at the end of February!

Seattle Chocolate, C Gates: A woman-owned company that ethically sources and makes its chocolates here in the region, Seattle Chocolate is the essence of the Pacific Northwest wrapped into creamy, built-to-share truffles and bars. The Valentine’s Day collection is deliciously delightful with a pair of treats: the Here’s Looking At You sparkling mimosa and dark chocolate truffle bar or Bake Cakes with milk chocolate and red confetti.

Le Grand Comptoir, C Gates: Wine and dine your valentine over a glass of Washington wine at Le Grand Comptoir that pairs beautifully with a range of small plates, local cheeses and charcuterie, large tartines, and seasonal salads.

Poke to the Max, D Gates: Love and aloha are in the air at celebrity Chef Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max. Try the Poke Tacos with classic shoyu ahi tuna or salmon poke in three hard and soft shell tacos with edamame hummus, slaw, spicy aioli, and cilantro. Wash it down with a cocktail served in a spam can!

Local food, good choices, and a Pacific Northwest sense of place are our love languages at the airport.
