Airport Statistics Glossary

Learn some of the terms and definitions used in the airport statistics reports.

All Cargo Landed Weight Report 

Identifies total aircraft landed weight of airlines that are strictly all cargo (freighter), no passengers, and "other" airlines that have cargo in the belly of the aircraft. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report. Reported in 1,000 pounds. Separated by Lease Agreements, Operating Agreements, and Non-Agreement airlines.

Deplaned Passenger Comparison Report

Total number of incoming passengers per airline. Identifies percentage (market share) of incoming passengers at Sea-Tac. Includes same month of previous year. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report. Separated by Lease Agreements, Operating Agreements and Non-Agreement airlines.

Enplaned Passenger Breakdown Report

Total number of outgoing passengers at Sea-Tac, separated by either domestic or international, per airline. Identifies percentage (market share) of passengers separated by domestic and international at Sea-Tac. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report. Separated by Lease Agreements, Operating Agreements, and Non-Agreement airlines.

Enplaned Passenger Comparison Report

Total number of outgoing passengers per airline at Sea-Tac. Identifies percentage (market share) of outgoing passengers at Sea-Tac. Includes same month of previous year. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report. Separated by Lease Agreements, Operating Agreements, and Non-Agreement airlines.

Total International Passengers

Combined total number of international enplaned and deplaned passengers per airline. Identifies percentage (market share) of total passengers enplaned and deplaned at Sea-Tac. Includes same month of previous year. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Deplaned International Passengers

Total number of incoming international passengers per airline at Sea-Tac International Airport. Identifies percentage (market share) of incoming international passengers at Sea-Tac. Includes same month of previous year. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Route Category Landings by Airline

Total number of landings of aircraft at Sea-Tac, separated by airlines for the month separated by International, Domestic, Air Taxi/Commuter and All Cargo.

Aircraft Landings Summary

Total number of landings of aircraft at Sea-Tac, separated by airlines for the month. Includes same month last year with difference between the years and percentage of difference. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Landing by Aircraft Make/Model

Show total of aircraft make/models for the month. Includes daily average of how many landed at Sea-Tac on a daily average. Identifies percentage (market share) of make/models at Sea-Tac for the month. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Revenue Trip Landed Weight Report

Identifies total aircraft landed weight at Sea-Tac for the month separated by airlines. Includes same month last year with difference between the years Identifies percentage (market and percentage of difference. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report. Reported in 1,000 pounds. Separated by Lease Agreements, Operating Agreements and Non-Agreement airlines.

Shows airlines that submitted reports for current month and their airline code.

Total International Freight (in metric tons)

Total number of international tons of air freight (mail weight not included), by airline, being loaded and unloaded at Sea-Tac for a specific month. Includes same month of previous year with difference and percentage of change. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Deplaned International Freight (in metric tons)

Total number of international tons of air freight (mail weight not included), by airline, being unloaded at Sea-Tac for a specific month. Includes same month of previous year with difference and percentage of change. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Enplaned International Freight (in metric tons)

Total number of international tons of air freight (mail weight not included), by airline, being loaded at Sea-Tac for a specific month. Includes same month of previous year with difference and percentage of change. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.

Total number of metric tons of air freight (mail weight not included), being loaded and unloaded at Sea-Tac, by airline, separated by either domestic or international. Identifies percentage (market share) of air freight loaded and unloaded by domestic and international at Sea-Tac. Year-to-date is reported on right side of report.
