Contacting Airport Noise Programs

The Noise Programs Office at the Port of Seattle receives noise comments through various methods - noise hotline phone calls, online Noise Comment Forms, the Port's Noise Comment App, and the PublicVue flight tracking tool.

PublicVue Online Aircraft Flight Tracking System

Identify and submit comments about the specific aircraft utilizing PublicVue, our free to the community, flight tracking system.


PlaneNoise Mobile Phone App

Noise comments can be submitted on your smartphone using the link below or by scanning the QR code. This app is not available through conventional app stores.

QR Code

  1. Download the either from this website Noise Comment Form App or by using the QR code shown. 
  2. Save the app to your home screen:
    • iPhone: Tap the box with vertical arrow and select add to home screen.
    • Android: Tap the 3 Menu dots and select save to homepage.
  3. Go to your home screen and open the SEA app.
  4. Follow the steps within the app (steps 1 through 4).
  5. Submit the comment.
  6. Submit additional complaints by tapping “File a New Noise Comment” from the confirmation screen.

Note: After using the app the first time, user information is saved and does not need to be re-entered.

Online Comment Form
  1. Select the link to the right on this page called “Noise Comment Form
  2. Enter your name, address, and information about the noise event.
  3. Submit the completed form.

The online form does not require a user account. A confirmation email will be sent that includes additional information that may be of interest.

Information submitted will be included in Sea-Tac Airport's monthly noise reports and will be shared with the FAA.
